November 16

If you are interested in participating or have any questions please contact Alan Greene @ aig0220@comcast.net.

If you are available on August 17, please let Alan know as soon as possible and in any event before August 3.

After you express interest, Alan will send a registration form to you. You will need to create a password and sign 2 standard consent forms, one for safety and one for media.

The SAM board decided to inform members of volunteer opportunities with nonsectarian organizations. Howard Sachs a SAM member has been volunteering with the Evanston Produce Mobile, which is run by Interfaith Action of Evanston since 2012. Volunteers come from many different faiths, but religion never comes into discussion. Most of the volunteers are regulars but also different groups come to help out such as Northwestern students, people from a company, and teenagers during the summer months. The work is not overly strenuous, and many of the volunteers are seniors. Howard Sachs is willing to help organize a group of men who would like to volunteer.
