Time: 1-3 PM
Where: Beth Emet Synagogue, 1224 Dempster, Evanston, IL

Due to Louis’s illness we have rescheduled the initial meeting of the story telling group to Monday, May 13 , 1-3 PM. If you plan on attending please RSVP.

Theme: “A Life Journey: Making The Right Choice Doesn't Necessarily Protect Us From Pain And How This Choice Affected Our Lives.” Stories are to be non-fiction based on one's life experiences, and can either be spoken word or read from a written work.

We have been telling stories since our beginnings. Our innate drive to recount narratives about who we are, where we come from and what we mean to each other remains an essential trait of being human. Getting your stories out there—so they're heard by others—can help us make sense of them, work through issues and concerns, and serve as an outlet for sadness, anger or joy. Stories of our journeys gives our lives understanding and purpose, providing insight into the human condition that can be shared for generations and that carries the power to change perspectives.

We will meet the first Monday of each month, 1-3 PM at Beth Emet Synagogue, 1224 Dempster, Evanston, IL.

Any questions please contact Louis Silverstein @  louis7s@comcast.net
